Our belief at “Keeping Tabs” is that if your mom and/or dad or elderly relative are for the most part pretty able to stay on their own, then they should be honored with that right. Allowing a coherent fairly abled senior to stay in their home is for lack of anything more succinct, your last act of kindness. Can you imagine how you’d feel if we uprooted you at your age and said go live somewhere you’ve never been with people you’ve never known? Or maybe they’d be with people they know but didn’t plan to do the final years of their lives with them. We recognize that seniors are often treated like they’re not all there but we know better – many are.
